First Post

This is a personal site for documenting my voyage into digital action photography. I started shooting sports back in Montreal at Lower Canada College in Grade 9 with a Pentax Spotmatic, a 50 mm 1.8 and 135mm 2.5. Those were the days of bulk-rolled Tri-x hastily processed in a miniscule darkroom with D-76 and printing from a Durst enlarger as I recall with prints in Dektol. Now its a progression from a Canon 10D through to a 40D and 5D. My walk-about equipment is the 5D with 24-105/f4, a Sigma 120-300/f2.8 on the 40D and a 50/1.2 on the 30D. I try never to change lenses in the field. As the Blog progresses, I'll post interesting photos including military,sailing,Dance,hockey,on-stage music and the like. Stay tuned.
